EDU 699 GAFE Lincoln Reflection

I really liked the idea of using Google Spreadsheets in my science classroom. It would be easy to share and analyze data on a single spreadsheet that can be edited by the whole class. I have six periods of 8th grade science, so we could easily put all of the 8th grade data on one sheet.

The best part of the class was integrating GAFE into three lessons. It was great to begin to develop GAFE lessons while in class. I now see many more GAFE lesson possibilities that I plan on using in my classroom in Crete this year.

One thing that could be added to the class is to have students find an app specific to their content area and give a short presentation on it. I found an anatomy of the human body app that was great for science classes. I think it would be cool to here about other apps specific to other content areas as well. Maybe you could require one of the article presentations to be over an app specific to our content areas.
